What is a vision counting machine?
A parts counter that uses a high-speed line-scan camera to image parts as they fall through the detection area and counts the actual quantity in real time. Just pour the parts into the hopper — no arranging needed.
Why is it more accurate than counting by weight?
Weight counting drifts when individual parts vary slightly in weight, which risks short counts. Viscount counts each piece, with accuracy over 99.9% and no under-count.
How fast does it count?
500–2,000 parts per minute depending on the model and part size — about 70% less working time than manual counting.
What parts can it count?
Screws, bolts, washers, rivets, O-rings, connectors, plastic and rubber parts, tablets, seeds and buttons. Part colour does not matter; counting depends on shape and size.
