Set-up standards and production standards
Inside the customer spec (MIN–MAX), the system defines a tighter set-up range at the center and a production range for in-process control. Parts are kept close to nominal and away from the spec limits, before any NG occurs.

What is LINE QC SPECIALIST (LQS)?
LQS is a shop-floor quality control system. Measurements from wireless gauges go straight into the software, which judges OK/NG in real time, enforces inspection rules and stores all data for analysis — with the goal of stopping NG parts before they are made.
Which measuring tools can be connected?
Wireless micrometers, calipers and dial gauges through receivers such as Mitutoyo U-WAVE. Many measuring-tool brands are supported, so you can usually keep the gauges you already use.
What is the difference between the Wagon and Desktop types?
The Wagon type is a mobile cart with a touchscreen, gauges and a signal tower that can be stationed at each production line. The Desktop type runs on a PC in the QC room or at an inspection point.
How does LQS prevent NG parts?
Inside the customer specification it sets a tighter set-up range and a production range, checks that gauges are calibrated, separates set-up from production data, and alerts when a sampling check is due or a measuring point is missed.
Can we analyse CP/CPK?
Yes. All data is stored in a database and can be filtered by period, process, machine, product, inspector, set-up operator or lot. The system shows CP/CPK per measuring point and highlights points below 1.0.
What is QC LITE?
QC LITE is for final inspection. It imports readings from measuring tools automatically, judges pass/fail in real time and builds the inspection report in Excel using your customer’s own layout.
