OK samples: the reference for setting up the machine
NG samples of every defect found: e.g. wrong dimensions, damaged threads, chips, cracks, mixed part numbers; the more complete, the more accurate the setup
Drawing or specification: key dimensions and tolerances
Quantity and deadline: to plan machines and shifts
Packing requirements: quantity per bag or box and labelling

■ What can be inspected

Vision sorting machines check dimensions, deformation, mixed part numbers and surface defects such as scratches, dents, stains, cracks, chips and burrs.

If the problem is invisible (abnormal heat treatment or mixed steel grades), use eddy current testing, which checks every part without damaging it.
