Introducing the 360° Surround View Camera
Last week, we featured our inner diameter inspection lens.
This week, we are pleased to introduce a special lens designed for outer surface inspection.
This lens enables a single camera to capture both the top and full 360° side view of a workpiece.
It offers a maximum field of view (diameter × height) of φ25 × 17 mm,
making it ideal for cylindrical products such as bottle caps and metal parts.
Practical application example:
For instance, to check whether an anti-loosening adhesive is applied to the correct position on screw threads,
this lens captures the entire side surface and performs automatic inspection.
Traditionally, inspecting the entire outer surface required:

multiple cameras placed at different angles (horizontal, diagonal, etc.),
-
dividing the circumference into sections, and
-
resulting in higher costs.
With this lens, both the top and side views can be captured simultaneously without rotating the workpiece.
This contributes significantly to:

reduced equipment space,
-
shorter inspection time, and
-
lower costs.
