This week, we are sharing updates on automatic sorting for polished shafts.
Previously, our shaft sorting process involved placing products in curved grooves on a glass table, which led to instability for long products and difficulty in projecting chamfered surfaces (C surfaces). Now, with improvements to the table jig, measurement accuracy and sorting efficiency have dramatically improved.
Sorting of φ5×31mm polished shaft pins
[Target Specifications]
Outer Diameter: φ5-10mm
Length: L 20-50mm
Speed: 100–400 pieces per minute (adjustable depending on the feeder)
The system sorts based on outer diameter (measured at three points) and length with micron-level precision.
By feeding shafts onto a zigzag-shaped table, we have achieved better stability in positioning and clearer product projections.
