Today, 100% automated visual inspection using image processing has become the industry standard.

In this article, we focus on a next-generation inspection solution that delivers both high accuracy and high-speed processing.

In this system, capsules are fed at high speed by a spin feeder and stably held on a rotating disk using air suction, ensuring consistent positioning during inspection.

By simultaneously capturing and analyzing images from 10 directions with full 360-degree coverage,
even the smallest defects can be reliably detected.

100,000 to 200,000 capsules per hour

・Foreign matter, scratches, chips, holes, cracks

・Deformation, dents, dimensional defects

・Discoloration, color unevenness, and more

Currently, NANO mainly handles inspection equipment for metal and rubber components, and therefore does not have this system installed in-house.

However, through close collaboration with our Taiwanese partners, we can arrange customized sorting machines optimized for tablet and capsule inspection applications.
